What to Expect
Explore the north of Vietnam on this exciting 4-day tour. Discover the colonial architecture of Hanoi, the striking capital city. And visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Presidential Palace, and learn about Vietnam in the History Museum.
In Hanlong Bay, you’ll find some of Vietnam’s most scenic sites. Enjoy a 5-hour cruise and discover 3,000 limestone island formations. You’ll have the opportunity to visit secluded beaches, grottoes, and beautiful caves. The boat will anchor and you can get out and swim!
In Hanglong Bay enjoy a delicious seafood lunch onboard ship before returning to Hanoi. En route you’ll stop at the Dong Trieu pottery village. You’ll arrive in time to see an evening performance of Hanoi’s famous water puppets.
Day 1: Arrival Hanoi
Arrival at Noibai Airport and transfer to hotel in Hanoi. If time permit you’ll enjoy a short cyclo excursion through the bustling old-quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong (Meals: B)
Morning half-day city-tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university), and the History Museum. Then you’ll visit Lake Hoan Kiem and the bustling Dong Xuan Market before departing for Halong Bay. Overnight in Halong.
Day 3: Halong – Hanoi (Meals: B, L)
5-hour cruise on Halong Bay. Stop for swimming and to explore beaches. Lunch onboard boat before returning to Hanoi. Stop en route at Dong Trieu pottery village, arriving in time to see an evening performance of Hanoi’s famous water puppets. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Departure
Free leisure time in Hanoi before transfer to airport for departure. Your trip ends when you arrive at Noibai Airport.
